A facial surgery specialist, Dr. Thomas Benson, graduated from the University of Hamburg, is now the only Brazilian with the title of specialist from the European Board of Plastic Surgery. The specialization was carried out in Germany and other European countries and validated in Brazil.

The surgeon's German medical degree had already been recognized by the University of São Paulo (USP), and today, he also engages with plastic surgery in other ways. Currently, Thomas participates as a volunteer in breast reconstructions performed at Albert Einstein.
