Sometimes we even forget. But often, the benefits of plastic surgery are directly linked to quality of life.

'What drives me is seeing the return of my work in each patient's smile. They return to the office happier and with renewed self-esteem,' says plastic surgeon Thomas Benson, 39, who specializes in improving people's lives through surgery.

The young doctor, who is currently the only one in Brazil with the title of specialist from the European Board of Plastic Surgery (European Board of Plastic Surgery), arrived in Alphaville through the most credible path: referrals. 'I used to attend more in the São Paulo region, but I already had patients in the neighborhood. They started to refer me to others who couldn’t always travel to my clinic in the capital,' he explains.

That's when the surgeon, born in Brazil and raised in Germany, decided to open some days in his schedule to attend here. But don't think he only does a pre-consultation. He brings the whole team: 'In partnership with Dr. Karina Nunes, I take my team to Innovare Clinic, which has the multidisciplinary infrastructure needed for consultations,' he explains.
